i'm on my last day of my trip to arizona, and it's definitely been a good one. i got to go target shooting with jenny's dad and brother, which was a lot of fun. i used to hit the range quite a bit with my dad growing up. it was one of those activities that was very fulfilling and stress relieving. nothing quite like blowing the crap out of bowling pins and bottles of soda to get your teenage angst out.
no starry skies this time because it was overcast, but we did have a nice (intentional) bonfire the first night we were out. i can sit around a fire and just stare in it forever.
i also got to tool around phoenix a bit, and i can say without a doubt that i don't like the city. the prescott area is a LOT nicer (although it's really starting to get built up, unfortunately). guess it won't be long before this state starts to look like california.
so other than that, i had a good time with my father and grandfather, and am about to head out to the big 20th anniversary dinner. getting sloshed on really expensive wine is always something i look forward to :)
