 Recuperation

The month of insanity is finally over! everything went well at work, but man, these month-long 14+hr/7-day-a-week work binges are taking their toll on me. today's strip is a character introduction because i don't think either dante or i had it in us to create a full fledged comic.
I'm taking this week off, and heading out to arizona on thursday for my grandparents' wedding anniversary and to spend a day with jenny's parents. i've always loved the landscape of arizona. i'm a desert person myself, so hot and dry is my kind of weather. whenever we head down there, i always look forward to just standing outside and looking out for miles in each direction and breathing in the mile-up air. i always feel a big weight come off when i look up into the gigantic starfield at night. even the thunderstorms are beautiful to watch. i'll probably appreciate it even more, having just been down'n'aBAIII-YOOOUU.
so, with any luck, you'll be graced w/ the continuation of the storyline next week.
